The goal of our early childhood education is to build confidence and develop the love of learning as they embrace this lifelong long journey.
Pre-Primary (Early Learning) Program
At Childhood Joy Academy, we believe that play serves as a natural catalyst for inquiry, especially for children in the Early Years and Lower Primary. Through our expertly curated programme, we emphasize physical experiences that nurture essential cognitive and social skills, where learning and play go hand in hand. By cultivating a love for learning from a young age, we prepare our students to become curious and resilient learners.
Each day is thoughtfully structured with customized learning experiences that spark curiosity and creativity. Our unique schedule includes extended periods of uninterrupted play, allowing children to develop new skills, expand their knowledge, and showcase their understanding.
Our Pre-Primary Curriculum

Ages 2 to 5
Our pre-primary program blends purposeful activities with personalized experiences, offering a fun, play-based curriculum that ensures each child receives a unique education tailored to their needs. This approach equips them with the skills and readiness for primary school.
From playgroup, our expert teachers guide children through the learning and development areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. The three 'Prime' areas:
-
Communication and Language
-
Physical Development
-
Personal, Social, and Emotional Development
These are essential to each child's overall growth. These core areas also support their learning in the four functional areas: Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design.
Passion for Learning
As passion for learning being a core value at Childhood Joy. It lays the foundation for holistic development and lifelong and effective learning. To achieve effective learning and preparation of the journey ahead for the early learners we follow three core principles:
Playing and exploring (Engagement): We encourage our youngest learners to solve problems through trial and error, experiment with familiar activities, and try new things with confidence.
Active learning (Motivation): We inspire children to stay focused on the task at hand, persevere through challenges, and take pride in their achievements.
Creating and thinking critically (Thinking): We support learners in generating their own ideas, understanding the connection between actions and outcomes, and tackling new challenges with a thoughtful approach.
